We have successful projects in most areas of the country, and equipment in operation for more than 20 years. We have also exported our equipment. We support our clients to verify that civil constructions fit perfectly with our equipment. Starting in 2022, we will make an alliance with the company X2solution, Italian manufacturers of treatment equipment to expand our catalog.

Stages of water treatment

Wastewater treatment involves a series of steps or processes that must be followed to clean contaminated water and make it safe for discharge into the environment or for reuse. These steps may vary depending on the type and quality of wastewater, but in general, common wastewater treatment steps are as follows:

Pretreatment:

This stage includes the removal of large solids, such as stones, sticks, and trash, through a screen, and the removal of finer solids, such as sand and sediment, through sedimentation in a tank.

Primary treatment:

At this stage, wastewater is placed in a settling tank to allow heavier solids to sink to the bottom and form sludge, while oils and greases float to the surface and are removed.

Secondary treatment:

At this stage, the wastewater is treated with bacteria and other microorganisms to break down organic solids and reduce the amount of nutrients in the water. This is done through biological processes such as aerobic or anaerobic digestion, and aeration.

Tertiary treatment:

If the wastewater requires additional treatment, this stage is used to remove remaining contaminants such as nitrogen and phosphorus. Common methods include filtration and disinfection.

Disinfection:

In the final stage, the wastewater undergoes a disinfection process to eliminate any bacteria or other pathogens that may be harmful to human health and the environment. Common methods include chlorination, ozonation and ultra-violet radiation. Once the wastewater treatment process is complete, the treated water can be released into the environment or reused in non-potable uses, such as irrigation or industrial cooling.
